The exhibition invites viewers to explore the artists’ distinct viewpoints and disciplines, as they are united in their desire to share their stories, dreams, imagination, and passions through their chosen artistic medium varying from clay, mixed media, textiles, photography, and paint. The satellite exhibition held at BRiC brings the collective of artists outside of the Arts Warehouse studio halls, and into a new space. The competitive Resident Artist Program at Arts Warehouse is made up of private artist studios, supporting artists as small businesses. One of the joys of working on their individual artistic visions at Arts Warehouse is the access to the public through studio visits, First Fridays, special exhibitions, classes and programs. The studios offer the resident artists the opportunity to interact daily and develop their individual expression through their practice while working, learning, and sharing with one another as a collective. In this exhibition we feature the work of 5 current and 5 former resident artists who have moved on after four years to another studio or opportunity. “The Arts Warehouse is often referred to as an incubator. The studio access and community interaction helped take my art practice to the next level. As a new Florida resident, I was able to immerse myself in my studio environment and allow its influence to permeate my work while exposing me to South Florida and its unique arts community”, says Bonnie Levinson, former resident artist and curator of the exhibition at the BRIC. This was such a gift and helped propel me to the next level. On the heels of a successful Resident Artist exhibition Our Walls Talk in late 2024 at Arts Warehouse, Multiple Visions 2 celebrates each artist’s unique practice, extending their reach beyond their studio spaces, into the vibrant South Florida arts community. The high quality of work exhibited is a testament to the caliber of artists at Arts Warehouse. The exhibition at the BRIC is an opportunity for a larger audience to experience this unique group of artists in a new setting and encourage further conversation in each artist’s personal studio spaces and beyond. The exhibition opens with a reception on April 17, 2025, from 5 – 6:30pm and continues through April 2026. Throughout the exhibition there will be in-person public programming “ Coffee & Conversations” which was a very popular addition to the exhibition experience last year. BRIC Exhibiting Former* and Resident Artists *Jocelyn Chemel’s art practice is about her response to social and environmental events.  During Covid she became aware of the ease of cells being able to mutate, about the world shutting down, and plants growing wild with no one to tame them.  The photographs in this Multiple Visions exhibition play with the notion of the wild– scattered, misplaced, colored and in limbo. *Andrea Facusse is a multimedia artist and biologist. Her work focuses on painting and mixed media to capture the interplay between nature, memory, and human emotion, creating pieces that evoke both nostalgia and wonder. Sarah E. Huang is a multidisciplinary artist currently exploring themes of memory and identity through paintings, installations, and soft sculpture objects. Her intimate abstract paintings form dream-like environments depicted through luscious swaths of color, mark-making, and texture that recall emotional landscapes, distant memories, and liminal. *Bonnie Levinson has moved to a beautiful new space in West Palm Beach, Studio 1608, where she continues her explorations by mixing painting, photography, and collage to achieve a distinct form of visual abstraction.  Inspired by the natural environment and travels, her projects seek to express that which is hidden beneath, often invisible, to express alternate realities from her imagination. Ma Nong’s art is driven by her interest in her identity, her signature series favor cubes and diamonds, on both large and small scales, and in bold colors and imaginative formations. She is working on abstract figure paintings and mixed media. Renée Rey invites viewers to step into a realm where absence speaks as loudly as presence, offering immersive worlds where surrealism and abstraction converge. In large and intimate scaled paintings and mixed media work, Rey blends fragmented imagery with both traditional and non-traditional materials—oil, acrylic, cardboard, branches, and pearls—to explore the tension between nature, technology, and the built environment. Her work challenges perception calls for environmental stewardship and reimagines a future where cultures and nature coexist harmoniously, sparking reflection on our shared responsibility to the planet. Marianela Pérez is a visual artist her artwork transcends the conventional limits of geometric work to become a profoundly vibrant and emotional experience. We find in her creations a perfect fusion between simplicity and complexity, where geometry becomes a means to express the artist’s most intimate ideas. Looking at Pérez’s work, the viewer is immersed in an emotional journey where forms and structures become gateways to the artist’s memories and experiences. Each line, each vibrant color leads us to different emotional and mental places, taking us beyond simple observation into a deep and meaningful experience *Amanda Perna is an award-winning fashion designer, illustrator, and Project Runway alum known for her vibrant, joy-filled creations. Her work bridges the worlds of fashion and fine art, bringing illustrations to life with bold color, texture, and 3D elements. Each piece reflects her passion for storytelling, craftsmanship, and inspiring others to embrace their unique creativity. She recently opened House of Perna in Pineapple Grove Delray Beach featuring her original designs. *Renee Phillips’s process-based practice investigates materiality, experimentation, and the transformative potential of color. In my new West Palm Beach art studio. She is currently investigating rhythmic patterns found in nature through a layering technique of latex paint, spray paint and a power sander – the results reveal highly tactile yet meditative surfaces. Kelley Ryan‘s work has recently transitioned from acrylic to oil paintings.  This shift has introduced a richer texture, allowing more depth and values in her work which has changed the way she paints and lends itself to her portraits.  The luminous quality of oil paint amplifies the tension between modern motifs and classical influence, creating a more immersive and resonant visual experience. *Former resident artists

She served as the International Curator for the 2021 art exhibition âLo Cierto Es Lo Inciertoâ held in Soriano, Uruguay. A dynamic lecturer, Rey has inspired students at Florida Gulf Coast University, New College, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. With nearly a decade of teaching drawing, painting, and creativity in Florida, Rey brings a wealth of experience and education to her work. Her background includes extensive undergraduate coursework in drawing, painting, 3-D design, performance art, and art history and graduate courses in film and computer art. She holds an MBA in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an A.A.S. in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design, an M.A. in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Judaic Studies from the University at Albany. This diverse educational foundation infuses her artistic practice with exceptional depth and perspective.

Instructor Biography Ma Nong As a Taiwanese born in Korea, I moved to South Florida in 2013. We encountered strangeness and difference at every turn, but the sunlight, sky, and green nature of the subtropical culture always gave me warm inspiration. I have lived in South Florida for a decade now compressing and symbolizing this into color-rich cubes representing home, the strangeness of being different from my native country, and the process of adapting. Gradually, I developed a series of portraits exploring the signifiers of human nature. Humanoid figures are portrayed as childrenâs dolls with exaggerated heads and smaller torsos and are centered and anchored as if trying to root themselves into the frame. They reflect child-like vulnerability where the feelings of dread, loneliness, and weakness to the familiar/unfamiliar world are present. Dimensional crystalline shapes simultaneously create and break the form symbolizing complex units that both comprise and undermine identity. Color is bold and convincing, resembling that of nationality, yet it doesnât reveal the true origin of the figure. Paint Your Pet Portrait

REGISTER HEREArtist Colleen Thompson will be spearheading a custom, step-by-step, pet portrait workshop. This will be a guided session using acrylic paints on canvas to turn your pup into a work of art. How it works:Guests who register will simply send a photo* of their pet (dog, cat, bird, & more!) toÂ [email protected]Â once the registration is complete. When they arrive the day of the workshop, theyâll receive a 16 x 20 inch canvas of their pet sketched and ready to be painted. Colleen will be breaking down the process so that you will leave with painting knowledge as well as a unique painting of your cherished pet. This is a great way to learn about painting fundamentals and also achieve an amazing result. Colleen will be available for one on one assistance throughout the workshop. Other notes:Feel free to bring a snack or drink for a break. *This workshop is for ONE pet â head, and shoulder portrait per canvas. $110 per student. After having a successful career working as an art director and computer graphic artist for 25 years, Thompson returned to her passion, picked up the paint brushes and painted again. Day 2 | Free hand drawing, basic structure and proportions of the head.Â A constructive method to find the placement of the elements of the face: breaking down the individual facial features, eyes, nose and mouth, how to see and represent them and how to relate them to each other within the general structure of the face. Day 3 | Line and contour drawing. How to represent each element of the face at different angles and how they align within the face as a whole. Introduction to sculpting shadows. Day 4 | Shadow mapping method and tonal valuesÂ for creating dimensionality. How to go beyond the constructive method and build a more intuitive approach, starting from the shadows rather than the lines. Day 5 | Additive method vs. Subtractive methodÂ (with live model). After previously tackling portraits by âaddingâ tones and lines on blanc paper, this time we will âsubtractâ values by removing material from a toned down paper to create lights and form. (Must attend both dates!) Thursday, May 21, 10:30am â 1:30pmFriday, May 22, 10:30am â 1:30pm *Registering for this ticket includes both dates of the 2-Day workshops Color is one of the most powerful tools when creating a piece of art in any medium. Color not only conveys feelings and emotions, but also passes inconspicuous messages to the viewer. Color Theory Basics is an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of color and color mixing with acrylic paint in a 2-Day workshop. The extended time gives more opportunity to practice as well. The Color Theory Basics Workshop is designed for the amateur artist who needs to solidify the basic, fundamental elements and structures of color knowledge. In order to gain this knowledge, the attendee will apply the information given in class through small projects completed during class hours. The goal is to enhance the students abilities on how to mix colors for the projects. This will help the students achieve a strong visual balance and convey meaningful messages to the viewers of their works. The workshop will be divided in to 3 small projects that will enhance the knowledge of the participants. This will be an opportunity to practice and get familiar with the blending of colors which will be taught in the 2-Day Color Theory workshop. Structure (Subject to adjustments day of based on pace of workshop attendees) Focus on theories of color development and terminology Section A Primary, Secondary and Tertiary colors including RYB, RGB, AND CMYK color wheel Demonstration Practice: Apply theory on a 8.5Ă11 canvas board â 45 minutes Section B Hue, Saturation, Value, and Temperature Demonstration Practice: Apply theory on a 8.5Ă11 canvas board â 45 minutes Section C Color Harmony: Monochrome, Complementary, Split Complementary, Triadic, Tetradic, Analogous Demonstration Practice: Apply theory on a 8.5Ă11 canvas board â 90 minutes Supplies: All Materials will be provided! *It is recommended that you bring a snack or lunch, there will be a short break. There is a refrigerator and microwave on site if needed. Instructor Information: Beverly Manning has been hosting workshops with Arts Warehouse since 2019, such as Intro to Creativity and Color Theory. Beverly was born in New York City and raised in Ecuador. She graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a BA degree in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design and Photography. In 1996 she moved to Florida where she worked as a Graphic Designer. Best known for her colorful abstract paintings, Manning acquired her technical skills by working with renowned painters from the South Florida area. She uses a wide range of mediums such as acrylics, newspaper, oil pastels and crayons, even her interior house paints. In other words, any and everything that can help to create and obtain vibrant paintings. Inspiration comes in many different forms, such as photos, flowers, and anything that touches her creativity. The main objective is to communicate feelings through colors and flowing lines that suggest the freedom of movement. Manning uses an array of techniques which range from Tapping and Meditation to art exercises in order to tune into her feelings. The techniques open up her creativity and prevents judgement towards her own creations. In March of 2018, Manning exhibited at the office of The Octopi Group in Delray Beach, where 27 paintings in a collection where presented. She also has exhibited at Style de Vie and Cornell Museum in Delray Beach.
