Celebrate New Year’s Eve early in the day with sparkling apple cider and group countdown and ball drop at 12pm. Lucky Shot Coffee will have coffee available for purchase. The zoo will open at 10am and close at 4pm. Anyone visiting the zoo between 10am-12pm will need to purchase an event ticket. The zoo will be free to visitors after our event from 12:30-4pm (last admission 3:30pm). This program takes place outside, so dress for the weather! This program is held on Sunday mornings at 10:30am in the Education Building across the street from the Zoo entrance. This program is designed for toddlers/preschool-aged children and their families. Each person attending requires a program ticket, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. Ticket price: $5/person BUY TICKETS

You are invited to learn about the behind-the-scenes activities and future plans for the Zoo from leaders of the Delaware Zoological Society, the non-profit that supports the mission of the Brandywine Zoo, and leaders of the Brandywine Zoo. After a half hour of speakers, there will be questions from attendees and discussions. Light refreshments will be served. The program is geared to adults. There are no activities planned for children, but they are welcome to attend. The event is free, but attendees must register in advance. REGISTER

Join us in our Education Building for an educational series for ages 10 and up! Each hour-long session we’ll deep dive into a particular topic with hands-on learning activities, meeting an ambassador animal, and more! This program is held every other Saturday at 2:00-3:00pm in the Education Building across the street from the Zoo entrance. This program is designed for middle and high schoolers. Kids under 10 may not attend. One adult per family may accompany their child for no charge. Children/teens may attend alone if they are signed in by a parent/guardian at the Education Building at the start of each program. Teens driving on their own may check themselves in. Buy tickets
