Come and join Lisa - and Miss Ruby her faithful canine companion - for a 6 week journey, exploring social emotional learning skills through an evidenced-based curriculum. Lisa is an Outreach Specialist at Courageous Hearts and Miss Ruby is a specially trained Beagle mix. Together they teach mindfulness strategies and techniques.Two 45 minute groups will be established once attendees have signed up. The first group will meet 2:15 to 3:00 and the second group will meet 3:00 to 3:45, with a short break in-between for Miss Ruby to walk around outside.*A waiver is required due to the use of animals.**Registration is required. 16 children maximum, Ages 7 through 11 preferred. A waitlist will be available.

Classes are 30 minutes and designed to keep the children fully engaged! Fourth Tuesday of every month at 11:00! This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Library Association. The Delaware Library Association promotes the profession of librarianship, advocates for library services, and works to increase public awareness of the value and impact of libraries.
