Part I deals with Websterâs life until the age of 31 (FYI: Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration at age 33!!) when Webster had already published his Blue Back Speller as well as his pamphlets Sketches of American Policy and Examination of the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution, both being very influential in convincing the Founders to first write the US Constitution, and then to help them fight for its ratification in each of their home states by persuading many of them as to why it was far better for America than keeping the Articles of Confederation!
