This interactive program led by RFL member, Julie Puzzo, is designed to help our athletes learn simple, effective nutrition strategies that actually fit into real life. In this session, you’ll discover how to fuel your body throughout the day to maintain consistent energy & perform at your best. We’ll break down practical pre- and post-match nutrition strategies, explore how hydration & electrolytes impact performance, & highlight the most common nutrition mistakes that can lead to fatigue & poor recovery.  You’ll also walk away with easy, realistic habits you can use week after week to support consistent performance — no complicated plans required. Whether it was the absurdity of a government cheese sculpture or the quirks of her mother’s self-medicating with Winstons and Ring Dings, nothing was off-limits for her infectious laughter-inducing commentary. Her friends quickly learned that any situation could become a comedy goldmine with her around. Fast forward to mid-life, Sloane cut her entertainment teeth doing her sit-down schtick as a cheeky conductor on the Boston duck tours. Her duck tour experience was the perfect tee up to becoming a standup comedian. She's now a regular at esteemed comedy venues from New York to Maine and has been featured in several comedy festivals, including Laugh Your Asheville Off, Boston Comedy Festival, and The Women In Comedy Festival. EARL DAVID REED (Co-Headliner) Earl David Reed is a seasoned comedian with over 25 years of experience, known for his quick wit, improvisational skills, and ability to connect with any audience. He has performed in over 100 comedy clubs and colleges, and is a favorite in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Reed has been seen on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, HBO, Showtime, Fox's Comic Strip Live, A&E's Comedy on the Road, and NBC's Friday Night Videos. He has also been featured on DVD as one of Bill Engvall's All-Stars of Comedy. Reed's performances are noted for their hilarious and topical nature, incorporating audience interaction seamlessly and making each show a unique and unforgettable experience. Celebrate a very special 50th anniversary on protected land that tells a story of stewardship, resilience, and community. You will not want to miss the Simsbury Land Trust’s 50th Anniversary Dinner at the beautiful Rosedale Farms and Vineyards. An evening filled with live music, delicious food and drinks, good company, a silent auction and a special keynote speaker by Rosedale Farm owner, Marshall Epstein.  In 2003 Simsbury Land Trust received a USDA grant to acquire a conservation easement on Rosedale Farm. This easement ensures that Rosedale Farm will stay farmland in perpetuity. SLT and Rosedale Farm work together to adhere to the USDA conservation agreement and it is with great enthusiasm that we hold our dinner on the farm and our community can hear from Rosedale Farm owner, Marshall Epstein about what it takes to maintain a farm in 2026 - and beyond.
