On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, we will celebrate the achievements of our 8th grade students and wish them well as they move on to high school. The ceremony will take place at Amity Middle School Orange at 9:00 am in the gymnasium. We expect that the program will last about an hour. We hope all students and their parents can attend. Students will receive certificates of promotion. In addition, Academic Awards recipients will be recognized.Students are reminded to dress appropriately as this is an important event. It is suggested no jeans, tee shirts, oversized or overly tight clothing or baseball caps please. 8th grade students should arrive at school at 7:30 am dressed for the ceremony. We will start the day with a student/staff breakfast in the cafeteria. Students will line up for the Moving Up Ceremony at 8:30. The doors will open for the guests at 8:30.
