Annual Decorated Vehicle Parade Friday, December 12, 2025 | Parade kicks off at 7:00 p.m. Join us for Middletown’s Annual Decorated Vehicle Parade! Decorate your car, van, truck, flatbed, company vehicle (a great free way to advertise your business!), sleigh—whatever you’ve got. The more decorations, the better! Parade Details Registration: 4:30–6:30 p.m. at Middletown High School, 200 LaRosa Lane, Middletown Judging: 6:45 p.m. Parade Start: 7:00 p.m. sharp (don’t be late!) Route: Parade will travel from Middletown High School through Downtown Middletown, led by Santa himself! Participants will line up at Middletown High School before the parade begins. Santa and Mayor Gene Nocera will judge the Most Festive Vehicles—so bring your holiday spirit and creativity! We are asking for a $5 donation to help raise funds for Holiday on Main Street. The Chamber has nine geographically based divisions which meet on a monthly basis throughout Middlesex County. These divisions focus on local economic development issues and each meeting features an update from local municipal officials. Twice a year, in November and March, our monthly morning division meetings are held during the evening and feature appetizers and networking, with the goal of creating new connections. This month's meeting will be hosted by Independent Electrical Contractors of New England located at 273 Dividend Road, Suite A, Rocky Hill, CT. The Chamber would like to thank Allie French and the entire staff at IEC New England for hosting.  Looking to host you own meeting and need a great space. IEC New England has 7 rooms to choose from ranging from 15 to 50 seat configurations. The furniture is modular so the room can be set based on your companies needs. The Building Committee, established in January 2023, was created to survey and address infrastructure improvements to the Chamber building.   Built in 1915, the building has faced many challenges with flooding, a leaking roof and in desperate need of new windows, doors, and a first-floor renovation.   Led by Tim Myjak, the committee is comprised of eight building industry professionals who will continue to develop a plan to address the improvements and identify budget needs. This group is critical to ensuring this building can meet the modern needs of today, as we continue to serve as the center for business and economic development, and to reflect the energy and spirit of the Chamber.

These divisions focus on local economic development issues and each meeting features an update from local municipal officials. Twice a year, in November and March, our monthly morning division meetings are held during the evening and feature appetizers and networking, with the goal of creating new connections. The East Haddam/Haddam/Killingworth Division occurs on the fourth Thursday of the month at different locations. This division does not meet in the Summer months of July and August.
