The David M. Hunt Library is pleased to announce Time Passages, a new exhibition of paintings by regional artist Ken Musselman opening with a reception for the artist on Saturday June 27, 5-7PM. The exhibition will remain on display through July 31. Musselman’s paintings—often populated by expressive animals, cinematic references, and visual jokes—have earned him a devoted following throughout the region. His ability to blend narrative, nostalgia, and whimsy has made his work instantly recognizable and deeply cherished. Time Passages focuses on Ken’s photorealistic still life paintings, landscapes, barnscapes, and cowscapes. Including his miniature paintings on four-inch easels, the exhibition brings together a selection of works that celebrate his signature style while marking a moment of transition in his life and career. The artist is moving from the Northwest Corner to a new home and studio elsewhere in the region and is looking to sell much of his current work while planning the next chapter of his creative life. As Ken says, “everything must go.” The exhibition will remain on view during regular library hours through July 31. The exhibition is part of the Hunt Library’s mission to support regional artists and foster cultural engagement within the community. The gallery is open during regular library hours, and admission is free.
