A special program offered to Clinton Public School children on specific half-days. Each session will include pizza, a special craft and/or activity, and free time to socialize, play, and explore our S.T.E.A.M. materials in The Hub. Bus service for from Jared Eliot Middle School will be offered on a limited basis. Please remember to register here for the half-day program before contacting the school to secure a bus spot. To secure a spot on the bus, please EMAIL the Jared Eliot Middle school at [email protected] beginning a week before each session. Join Edward Canty, artist of the month, for the opening reception of his show, Lighthouses of New England."Lighthouses have always intrigued me. Each one has a unique character and history behind it.  They are like old friends that greet sailors as they enter port.  I have also been fascinated by daguerreotype photography of the 1800’s.  These photographs on a polished silver-plated sheet of copper were high contrast with extreme washed out whites in the highlights and extreme blacks in the shadow areas.  Those photos have influenced how I envision and draw these lighthouses.  I hope you enjoy looking at my work as much as I have enjoyed creating it."Come meet the artist and tour his works.

Henry on Main in association with Cafe Nola and the Clinton Arts Council present the Ohm Soni Trio.OHM SONI, is a junior at UConn pursuing a BM in Jazz. He currently studies with Jonathan Barber and performs regularly with jazz musicians across Connecticut. Ohm is also the drummer for the 78th Army Band in New York City. He has attended Litchfield jazz, Back Country jazz camp and has recently participated in the Cortona jazz workshop in Italy, where he studied with Eric McPherson. Ohm has played with Jerry Weldon, Matt Dwonzyk, Godwin Louis, and many other notable musicians.Tickets are $10 at the door.
