Looking for something fun to do after school? Join us every 2nd Monday at the Sheridan Library for an afternoon of creativity, games, and hands-on fun! Whether you're into board games, tech gadgets, arts & crafts, or even easy cooking and snack-making, there’s something new to try each month. Bring your friends—or make new ones—and hang out in a space made just for tweens and teens! Note: Some activities are only available while supplies last. Note: This event is designed for school-age tweens and teens (ages 9-18) based on the skills we'll be practicing or the tools used. Offering age-appropriate programming allows us to craft memorable and personalized experiences for all our patrons, no matter their age.

Let's read, sing, rhyme and move together, and lay a foundation for reading and learning!   We plan for ages 0-5; older children are also welcome. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Please reserve spots for each child and adult attending. Drop-ins welcome as space allows! Sensory Support Kits are available for in-library use for children experiencing anxiety or feeling overwhelmed in a public space. ¡Plas, plas, plas! Vamos a leer, cantar, hacer rimas y bailar juntos y de esta manera crear las bases para la lectura y el aprendizaje. Para pequeños de 0 a 5 años, aunque también, los niños mayores de esa edad son bienvenidos. Menores de 8 años deben ser acompañados de un adulto. Por favor, inscriba a cada niño y adulto que asista al programa. Se admite su asistencia sin inscripción previa, si el espacio donde se realiza la Hora de Cuentos, lo permite. Kits de apoyo sensorial están disponibles para uso en la biblioteca en caso de que el niño experimente ansiedad o se sienta agobiado en el espacio público.
