Third Thursday Committee Nights – August 21 , Sept 18, Oct 16, Nov 20, Dec 18, Jan 15, Feb 19, Mar 19, Apr 16, May 21 Committee meeting are as follows: * District Accountability Committee (DAC) - The District Accountability Committee (DAC) is an advisory group providing regular feedback and recommendations to the Board of Education (BOE), in compliance with the state of Colorado Revised Statutes Title 22. Education § 22-11-301&302. It provides a public forum for parents and community members to participate and assist the District in achieving its missions and goals and works on community engagement. * District Accountability Budget Subcommittee (DACBC) - The DAC budget subcommittee makes DAC approved recommendations to the Board of Education relative to cost containment and prioritization of expenditures of District 11 funds as it relates to student achievement and safety. * District Accountability Accreditation Subcommittee (DACACC) - The DAC accreditation subcommittee makes DAC approved recommendations to the BOE relative to the accreditation of District 11 schools and the development of the District Improvement Plan. * Mill Levy Override Oversight Committee (MLOOC) - Budget Focus - The MLOOC represents the voters, taxpayers, and residents of District 11, helping to ensure that the revenues approved by the voters in the 2000 and 2017 Mill Levy Overrides are used for the purposes identified at those times.
