Enjoy the aromatic experience of making your own beeswax candles to brighten your home this winter! In this 1-hands-on workshop you’ll have the opportunity to practice two methods of candle making.Hand-rolled Candles: learn how to roll your own candles from beeswax sheets and make them unique with moldable wax and natural decorations. Hand-dipped Candles: experience the art of hand dipping candles.All materials will be provided. School age children will need adult supervision due to use of hot wax.

It's time to finish your high school diploma with an experienced instructor in a small group setting! The library offers in-person preparation classes, providing all learning materials needed at no cost. In order to earn a high school equivalency diploma you must pass all 5 tests.This class prepares you for the Math subject test. Additional tutoring support may be available if needed.Learners must be 16 years old and live or work in Boulder County. Registration is required and is limited to learners who have already passed their Language Arts (Reading and Writing) official exam(s). Registration will open on July 29nd and close on August 23rd.
