Hi Ms. Olmos,I just want to connect with you on getting the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) started at your site. Iâve already connected with Monica on execution. Please review the following plan:Service Days: Tuesday, Thursday, FridayLocation: Pick-up station in the cafeteriaPortion Size: One portion of a fruit or vegetable per student, per dayDistribution: Sending one student/runner from each class to pick up the snack bag from Monica. If the student can provide a headcount, we can hand out the exact amount needed to reduce waste.Timing: Recommend serving the snack around the last recess (either just before or just after). I'll take your input on what works best for your schedule.Additionally, the program encourages a bit of nutrition education to support healthy eating habits.
