Start off 4th of July weekend with a sunset sail on SF Bay. Step aboard Schooner Freda B in downtown Sausalito and cruise around the SF Bay Area's iconic sights! As the day's end paints the sky with brilliant hues, join us in creating unforgettable memories that will light up your heart. Sights often include Alcatraz, Angel Island, the Marin Headlands, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, and the San Francisco skyline, all while enjoying the sunset!

4th of July Festivities   This day full of events is free and open to the public. We are celebrating with a parade, live music, food, games, and fireworks! When attending our events, please remember to keep Sausalito parks and the SF Bay beautiful by placing all refuse in the correct bins.    4th of July Schedule of Events: 10 am: Parade starts in Old Town 12 pm – 4 pm: Picnic at Dunphy Park 6:30 pm: Evening celebration at Gabrielson Park 9:15 pm – 9:30pm: Fireworks show at Gabrielson Park    RESERVE YOUR FIREWORK TABLES beginning May 12   DONATE TO THE FIREWORKS   * PARADE The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. and starts on the corner of Second and Main, it moves along Bridgeway to Caledonia Street and ends at Dunphy Park.   This year's Grand Marshal will be announced. Feel free to nominate a Grand Marshal by emailing [email protected]   Sign up to participate in the 2026 4th of July Parade! NOTE Street Closure 9:45a - 11:45a: Main St. and 2nd St up Bridgeway, all of Caledonia St. up to Bridgeway and Napa will be closed to thru traffic.   * PICNIC  Gather for an afternoon picnic at Dunphy Park. The band will play from 12:30-4:00pm in the gazebo. We'll host our annual egg toss and tug of war competitions.    Sausalito Rotary will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers. Galilee Harbor will sell fish & chips, fries, corn, and watermelon. The Rec'ers will be serving wine, margaritas, and beer and accepting cash only.    Sausalito Parks & Recreation will have water, soda, and locally designed t-shirts for sale. There is a limited supply of shirts and they will only be available at the fireworks if supplies last.    * FIREWORKS The evening events will take place at Gabrielson Park. The band is sure to keep you dancing from 6:30-9pm. Fireworks will begin around 9:15pm and last for half an hour. Food will be serving food. They are accepting cash and/or card.   Bring your blankets, beach chairs (low to the ground and no high backs), or reserve a table.    * FIREWORK DONATIONS Our ability to provide fireworks every year is solely based on donations. Tables are available for use from 6pm until the end of the fireworks. Each table includes 6 chairs. From abstract to representational, quiet to bold, 2D to 3D, each series reveals a unique visual language shaped by intention and repetition. Showcase 25 highlights the depth and diversity of the SCA artist community while offering collectors and visitors a rare opportunity to engage with artists through fully realized series.
