Santa Clara County Library District residents are eligible to register for this in-person ESL class led by professional ESL instructors. Join us to learn and improve your English listening and speaking skills. Space is limited. Testing to determine your level is required to register for the class. This class session is for beginner and intermediate ESL students. Registration is full for this class. Please check back in August for the fall class. Classes are Monday and Friday mornings 10am - 12pm from April 5th through June 21st. You must be able to attend the entire class session. This class will take place in person at the Saratoga Library. Attendees must be at least 18 years old.

Despite having a master's degree in biology, it was the illustrious world of colors and art that truly captivated her heart. In addition to painting, Kirti devotes time to guiding young, aspiring artists to find their passion in art. About this Exhibit, from the artist: Step into a world where tranquility and vibrancy intertwine—a meticulously painted realm by the artist. “Oasis of Serenity” beckons you to explore the delicate equilibrium between earthly landscapes and ethereal beings. Within these canvas realms, the serene gaze of Lord Buddha awaits, wisdom etched in every stroke. The bold lady stands resolute, a testament to resilience and empowerment. And then, the landscapes—lush greens, serene water ponds—invite you to pause, breathe, and find solace. My brush dances across the canvas, embracing various styles that resonate with my soul, hoping to evoke memories from your own life.Each painting whispers secrets of quietude, urging you to seek refuge from life’s chaos. The hues blend seamlessly, mirroring the ebb and flow of existence. Whether drawn to the landscapes or the tranquil park where couples stroll hand in hand, you’ll discover your personal oasis—a sanctuary where time slows, and the heart finds its rhythm. **This exhibit is available to view everyday during the library's open hours from May 1 to June 29, 2024.** Nineteen-year-old Austin Oh was born and raised in San Jose, California. He has autism with speech delay and currently attends post-secondary school in the South Bay. In this exhibit, Austin shares his collection of 3-D paper figures of Disney movie and video game characters that he made himself. He is passionate about this hobby and enjoys making these intricate figures using paper, crayons and tape. Austin's exhibit runs from May 1 to June 29, 2024 in the Saratoga Library Lobby glass case display.

In celebration of AANHPI Heritage Month, enjoy the AAPI Teen Art Exhibition on display in Saratoga Library's Group Study Room now through May everyday during the library's open hours. This exhibit showcases the creativity of the AAPI community. All student artists, from emerging to established, were invited to submit their artwork for consideration. The exhibit celebrates the diversity and richness of AAPI cultures, highlighting the unique perspectives and experiences of the community. Over 70 pieces are displayed, including drawings, acrylic paintings, oil paintings and 3D art.
