LGBTQIA+ community members and allies are invited to come together and build connections through a fun and inclusive game night. On the first Friday of each month, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, a peer-facilitated a group game night at the Center, where people are encouraged to bring their favorite board games and tabletop games. Purpose & Goals: The primary goal of this game night is to promote inclusion, strengthen bonds, and foster a sense of belonging within the LGBTQIA+ community. Through shared experiences in playing games, participants can enjoy healthy, supportive conversations and gain valuable perspectives from each other. Group Expectations and Agreements: Respect: We will treat each other with kindness and respect, valuing each personâs individuality and contributions. Collaboration: While games can be competitive, we will prioritize teamwork, communication, and cooperation during our time together. Open-mindedness: All participants are encouraged to listen to and understand perspectives different from their own. Itâs a space for learning, growth, and connection. Supportive Environment: This event is primarily about fun, but if you ever need advice, guidance, or simply someone to listen, we invite open and supportive dialogue. Good-Natured Conversations: We encourage healthy, respectful discussions, but ask that disagreements be handled with tact and understanding. No Tolerance for Discrimination or Harassment: This is a space for everyone. Any behavior that goes against these values will not be tolerated. No experience with either DnD or tabletop role-playing games is necessary, and we provide all the materials needed to play. Games run in person and online. Currently, our two in-person games are full and unable to accept new players, but space is still available for new players in our online game.
