Are you practicing ethical non-monogamy (ENM), curious about it, or looking for a supportive space to connect with others? Join us for a peer-lead monthly discussion group where we explore the many facets of ENM, from navigating challenges to celebrating joys. This group is a welcoming, judgment-free space where we can share experiences, insights, frustrations, and successes. Whether you're new to ENM, have years of experience, or are just exploring, you're invited to join the conversation. Weâll exchange resources, discuss personal journeys, and support each other in creating fulfilling relationshipsâwhatever that looks like for you. đ When: Last Wednesday of every month, 6:00-8:00 PM đ Where: Front room at the Gala Pride & Diversity Center For questions, please contact: [email protected] People of all relationship styles, orientations, and experience levels are welcome. One of the moderators usually opens up the building at 6:15, you're welcome to come hang out with us before the discussion group officially starts. Rules: - All attendees must be 18 or older. - There is no fee for this event, but donations to the Gala Pride and Diversity center are greatly appreciated. - Fight club rules. What is discussed here stays here. We take outing very seriously. - We are not a dating group. Folks who are 'cruising' will be asked to leave. - This is an independent event but we uphold the CCKC blacklist. Nobody on the CCKC blacklist may attend this event. - Respect the Gala Pride and Diversity Center rules. Meeting Agreements: - What you hear here, stays here. Respect the privacy of all participants, allow people to share what they feel comfortable sharing, and do not share personal information or personal experiences outside of this meeting. While you can discuss concepts and ideas you learn here outside of the group, make sure that everyoneâs privacy is respected. - Center lived experiences. The only expert on someoneâs personal experiences is that individual. Those who have lived a particular experience will be more knowledgeable than those who have not. - Check yourself for assumptions and stay open minded. These discussions may challenge your current understanding. Be mindful that no one person has all the answers. Be aware you may leave with more questions than you came with. This is a starting point for exploration, not a finite discussion. - Communicate with empathy. Assume everyone is here in good faith to learn, share, and support. Participants join for different reasons, but we're all here in the spirit of learning, growing, and supporting as a community. - Share the space. We want everyone to have the opportunity to speak, so please be mindful that no one voice dominates the conversation. - Respect identity. Use the affirming name and pronouns that people share.
