Inclusive free self defense training from 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday evenings starting January 15th. Training is conducted with a philosophy of non-violence, focusing on how to counter attacks with movement, compliance, and control. This is a 3 month trial with limited training spaces. Currently there are 3 spaces available. Please email [email protected] to register. Training space is assigned in the order of email received. If you do not make the first group, you will be put on a waiting list. Training is continuous, meeting weekly to practice, with the intent to make the motions natural. Because of this, there is no problem starting the training mid session. Disclaimer: Because training spaces are limited, a training spot will be given to the next person on the waitlist with either one no-call/no-show, or 2 trainings missed. We will be moving soil, planting plants, garden maintenance, and working on the drip irrigation! Be sure to bring gloves, a hat, earplugs, sunglasses, and sunscreen! If you have tools like a shovel, they will be needed! Do not park at the Grocery Outlet they will tow your car.
