Experience the soothing calm of yoga and meditation, as presented  by our partner, The Heartfulness Institute each Saturday.  Yoga is taught by certified instructors and meditation is taught by a Heartfulness certified instructor.  Yoga may be either chair or regular yoga.   Please be sure to bring your yoga mat! The program structure is 75 minutes as described below: 5 min Meet & greet 35 min Yoga and Pranayama (different styles like hatha or arkaya yoga) 5 min posture change break 25 min Heartfulness Relaxation & Meditation (experience, hands-on) This program is geared to enrich the lives of adults and seniors. Please note that all NEW participants will need to complete the Exercise Waiver in order to be able to participate.  The Exercise Waiver must be completed before your first day of participation.  Exercise Waivers will be provided at each meeting. Our One-on-One Reading Tutor for Kids provides students in grades K-3 with an opportunity to improve their reading skills by working one-on-one with a reading coach. Our reading coach creates a positive reading experience for beginning and developing readers and helps children build confidence as readers. Our reading coach will listen to children read and provide support in phonics, sight words, and comprehension. Students can bring their favorite book or choose from the available selection at the Cambrian Branch Library to read aloud to their reading coach. Free. Pre-registration not required. However, reading sessions are available on a first come, first served basis and the duration of reading sessions will be 15 minutes. (A little longer session may be permitted, provided there are no other participants). Participants can also use their session to read away their fines! Just inform your coach (open to youth only). Please note, that the One-On-One Reading Tutor for Kids is a program to encourage young readers to practice their reading skills with an adult volunteer. (It is not intended as an hour long tutoring session.) ADA Accommodation Requests

Storytime is designed to accommodate a mix of ages and invites the entire family to participate in early literacy activities such as stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and movement activities. Storytime is a fun and interactive experience for the whole family that promotes the joys of reading and learning for all ages. This program is geared for children of all ages and their parents/caregivers! Free, with limited capacity. Seating for Storytime is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of tickets will be distributed at the Information Desk when the Library opens.   A second Storytime will be provided at 11:30 a.m., if necessary.  This storytime is also first-come, first-served, with a limited amount of tickets available, once the 11:00 a.m. Storytime has reached capacity. It is strongly recommended that everyone (ages 2+) wear a mask for indoor programming. This program is developed to align with the Early Education Quality Standards. ADA Accommodation Requests
