Virtual (Teams Link: here) and in person in Ms. Lowes office A-2 at the Rancho site.Students should come to the math lab with their questions and also be prepared to work throughout the lab time either on their math assignments or Exact Path to fill in skills gaps.If students use the Point of Confusion form and submit it before the beginning or right at the start of math labs, I will be more prepared to answer their specific questions early on. Additionally, when several people have the same topics as questions, I will be more able to do additional direct instruction for the group over those topics in a timely manner. Students should bring paper, pencil, Chromebooks and chargers as well as any books and assignments that they may have to math lab. If students are in person, they should log on for the first part of the math lab to hear the direct instruction. Then they can work and ask individual questions during the independent practice times of lab.

This session is held at our Folsom High location in room P1.Math support is our in-person drop-in service to better support students who need extra help in math. During the session, Mrs. Elliott will provide guidance and explanations to help students better understand the math content they're struggling with. They may work through specific problems together, clarify concepts, offer tips and strategies for solving math problems, and provide additional practice exercises to reinforce learning. The goal of math support is to boost the student's confidence and competence in math.
