Roundtables support unit leaders through delivering effective program ideas, relationship development, and timely communication. Roundtables also provide an opportunity for sharing experiences and enjoying fun and fellowship with other leaders. There are two main purposes of Roundtable: ⢠First. To provide the skill to doâskills, techniques, information, program ideasâthe know-how that makes for successful unit operation. ⢠Second. To provide unit leadership with the will to doâthe morale, enthusiasm, inspiration, and vision that periodically renew the desire to serve youth. When skillfully executed, the Roundtable experience will inspire, motivate, and enable unit leaders to provide a stronger program for their youth.

The committee usually does not meet in June and July but maintains communication between members of the committee via phone and the internet during those months.## **The District Meeting** The entire district committee which is chaired by the district chair or district vice chair meets on a regularly scheduled date, usually monthly. The purpose of district meetings is to build momentum, provide group continuity, ensure good coordination, and make specific assignments to committee members.
