Computer Docents can: Teach you to use email Teach you to create and save documents Teach you to print out a document or web page Teach you to do basic web searches Assist you with eBooks on the Libby app Computer Docents cannot: Perform repair work on your device Install hardware, software or program updates on your device Provide word processing services (typing on your behalf, etc.) Provide private lessons, or accept payment or remuneration of any kind Recommend products for you to buy (e.g., computers), do your online shopping, or place ads for you (e.g., eBay, Craig’s List, Amazon consignment sales, want ads, etc.) No appointments necessary. If you’re a seasoned artist, someone crafty, DIY enthusiast who likes to dabble, come check out Drop-In Maker Space. Our volunteers and community experts are there every Monday night to assist with starting a new project or helping to get over the next hurdle. The Maker Space is equipped with a Cameo Sillhouette Pro for all your crafting needs, as well as an Epilog Fusion Pro Lasercutter and the Ultimaker s5 3D Printer so there's no limit to what you could create. The Maker Space even has multiple sewing machines available for avid stitchers looking for a workspace, machine, or volunteer to help them finish a project. Like any good creator, the Maker Space is always evolving, so Drop-In to see what’s new. You don’t have to be high-tech to use the Maker Space. If you just need some room to spread out and get messy, make it in the Maker Space. Drop-In Shop is for Adults 18 and over only. Maker Safety Waiver required to participate in hands-on projects.

Learn to sew in the library makerspace! In this beginners workshop, you'll learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine and create a simple project to take home! For tweens and teens, 9yrs to 18yrs, no experience necessary. Each date covers the same project; please only register for one class per month! Other workshop dates are available on December 5 or 19. Reminders: Parents/ legal guardians and participants must complete a "Maker Safety Waiver" and parents will be asked to remain present in the library during the entirety of the event Please allow ample time for parking and to check in to the event by 3pm. Spots are held for 15 minutes past the workshop start time. After 15 minutes open spots are optioned to drop-in students. This class runs 2hrs long. Depending on the participant, they may finish early. Please check in with volunteers or staff if you have questions about pick-up times.
