FRESHMAN FUN RUN LG Health & Fitness is excited to announce our favorite event of the year:  The Freshman Fun Run !  will take place on the morning of Friday May 22.  We are in need of volunteers and donations! In order to volunteer, you must complete the Volunteer Clearance Process with our District Office  (please see below).  If you are cleared or intend to be cleared, please use this   Sign-Up Genius Link  to sign up.  The  volunteer  categories are:*Athlete Check-In*Water Stations (water distribution on the course)*First Aid/Medical Safety (RN's or other medically trained personnel needed)*Start/Finish line Monitor*Data/Time Entry Award tabulation (primarily post-race) We are also in need of two types of  donations : *Water (in large 2 gallons jugs to be distributed on the course)*Prizes (we will hold a drawing as part of our post race activities, and we'd love to have some exciting items to give away, EX: gift cards to local restaurants, yoga mats, water bottles, exercise equipment, short-term memberships to local fitness businesses).  Mostly-the students enjoy gift cardsIf you have any questions about volunteering or the event itself, please email Shannon Minyard @  [email protected] .
