Government Affairs Committee (GAC) The Chamber's GAC meets on the first Thursday of every month to identify and support legislative and regulatory issues that serve the interest of Chamber members and the business community. The Committee also reviews specific business development issues and/or challenges that are brought to their attention by member businesses. The Chamber's relationship with the city is one of mutual respect, with the understanding that the Chamber will always advocate for the business community. This is a member benefit.  Members can have candid conversations with elected officials we invite as our special guest speakers. MEMBER BENEFIT Registration is required. First Thursdays Art Walk is funded by member galleries, local art institutions, lodging establishments, and the City of Laguna Beach. First Thursdays Art Walk was founded as an independent, community-serving, non-profit with the mission to promote Laguna Beach as a leading destination and community of fine art galleries. What will volunteers do? Help us keep the beach clean and free of trash by grabbing a bucket to collect trash along Woods Cove.   What will volunteers need to bring or wear? Mobile Stage Your Pacific Symphony musicians will be performing free outdoor chamber music concerts across Orange County this summer with our new Symphony on the Go! mobile stage. Symphony on the Go! is a mobile community concert experience. This brightly-wrapped traveling stage on wheels will be hard to miss, with colorful images of Pacific Symphony musicians and Artistic & Music Director Alexander Shelley. All concerts are presented weather permitting. You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to our free outdoor concerts.
