The Cloth Produce Bag Sewing Circle’s goal is to replace plastic at the Kensington Farmers Market by providing free cloth produce bags to Market shoppers. Join the Kensington Seamsters Union, local 94707 in transforming donated natural fiber fabric into bags. We need YOU to help measure, cut, iron, sew and thread drawstrings, and create community. We meet on the third Tuesdays of the month from 2:00-5:00pm. For special accommodations, please contact the Library with 72 hours notice.

This program is designed for young folks who can read on their own but could benefit from the patience and comfort of a canine companion from the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
