Join us for BYOC, or BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR, Movie Night at the Concord Library. Bring a camping chair, or a bean bag, or a blanket, or a pillow, or whatever you'd like to sit on during the show! We will be watching the 1984 black comedy horror film Gremlins (PG) and will be providing popcorn. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages (with a lid). Registration not required. Sure, he's cute. Of course you can keep him. But heed these three warnings: Don't ever get him wet. Keep him away from bright light. And the most important thing, the one thing you must never forget: no matter how much he cries, no matter how much he begs . . . never, never feed him after midnight. With these mysterious instructions, young Billy Peltzer takes possession of his cuddly new pet. He gets a whole lot more than he bargained for. Self-Service Sundays at the Concord Library: What is Self-Service Sundays? Find more information here.  To qualify for Self-Service Sundays you must: Be 13 Years or Older  Patrons ages 13-17 must have a parent attend the orientation Have a Contra Costa County Library Card in Good Standing Attend a 30 minute in-person presentation at the Concord Library Please include your library card number in the registration form and make sure to bring your library card with you to the orientation.  Registration is required.
