Sometimes you want to read a book, but you just don't want to read it at home, or maybe you don't know what book to read next. Join our silent book group as we all just sit and read in a comfy place. If you're trying to figure out your next great read, library staff will be available to help you.  BYO book, reading device, laptop, and/or phone, mug (we'll have hot water and various teas available) and if you have a portable comfy chair bring that too. If folks want to share what they are reading we can do that the last 1/2 hour. Or we can just keep on reading. Let's share the joy of reading together!

Afterschool snacks are available for anyone under the age of 18 and it's going to be an in-person program like before the pandemic. Snacks are provided in partnership with the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, the Arizona Department of Education, and the USDA.

Visit the Bookbike at Casa Maria Soup Kitchen

The Bookbike gives out free books, library cards, and information about library and literacy programs, as well as bike maps and information about bicycling events. Visit the Bookbike at the Casa Maria Soup Kitchen, 325 E. 25th St on the 4th Thursday of every month.
