The biannual student art sale is back! Support student artists and find unique holiday gifts at the Fine Arts Complex held in rooms 302, 403, 405 and 415. The sale features ceramics, prints, sculptures, metalwork and more created by students. Proceeds benefit student artists and their organizations, including the Student Ceramic Arts Guild, Student Art Alliance of the North, Students Learning Art Guild and the Alaska Metal Arts Guild. All UAF Art events are free and open to the public.

It's time for the Choir of the North's Holiday Concert! The first half of the concert will highlight beautiful holiday anthems by Derric Johnson. After the intermission, the second half will be a full audience sing-along of your favorite Christmas carols! Join the Choir of the North, director Dr. Jaunelle Celaire, and pianist Loylene Ruppert at the C. W. Davis Concert Hall for a holiday delight! We will also be joined by the UAF guitar ensemble under the direction of Nathan Arnold! The guitar ensemble will be offering some pre-music that will start at 6:30 PM in the great hall! Our NAMI Family Support Groups are an ongoing support for families, friends, and caretakers of individuals living with mental illness.  At our in-person mental health support groups, you can speak with others who understand firsthand what you're going through.  By sharing your experience in a safe and confidential setting, you can gain hope and feel a sense of connections.  You'll benefit from others' experiences, discover your inner strength, and empower yourself by sharing your own experiences in a non-judgmental space.  There is no cost to attend. Must be 18 years old.

 Job X provides employers an opportunity to meet with vocational professionals and express their business needs, hiring and retention challenges, and work values. It is also a platform to educate employment specialists on what types of candidates are appropriate and what types of job opportunities are available.    Each meeting will be one hour long and will follow a semi-formal agenda. Each meeting will have a guest speaker for 20-30 minutes ranging from different local employers to community support agencies that serve both employment candidates as well as businesses. There will be opportunities to announce local job openings and community employment events, as well as network and ask questions of employers, community support agencies and employment specialists. Job seekers are not a part of this group or these meetings. This group is open to hiring professionals, employment specialists and partner agencies. This open group does not require weekly attendance, but rather popping in and out of meetings that appeal to you. The UAF Music Jolly Jamboree is sponsored by the Department of Music here at UAF. This virtual holiday concert will be available via our YouTube channel on Monday, December 22 @ 6:30pm AKDT. This holiday concert will feature music from all large ensembles of UAF Music, which include: the Jazz Combo, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Northern Lights String Orchestra, Choir of the North and the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra along with some special moments of the holidays from our faculty and students!
