Monthly Hike SeriesSave the date for the September hike Sunday, September 18 at 10am This is the second in our monthly series of outings meant to help newcomers discover Teatown. We will explore a different trail than the first walk and enjoy even more of what Teatown has to offer. Don’t forget to sign up for the next outing in September, where we will discover yet another of Teatown’s wonderful trails. This experience is perfect for everyone aged 5 and older, and anyone who wants to start learning about the magic of Teatown. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Bring water, light snacks, and wear supportive, comfortable shoes such as sneakers. No flip flops. This event will be lead in English and Spanish. This event is free to attend, although parking is $7, which helps with reservation maintenance. No chanclas / flip flops. RegisterThe purpose of this series is to encourage visitation by members of our community who are new to Teatown and / or outdoor activities. In each monthly hike, visitors will explore a new area of the preserve. The ultimate goal is for participants to come away with sufficient knowledge, familiarity, and therefore confidence to visit Teatown on their own. The hikes will be led by our bilingual (English/Spanish) Community Outreach Coordinator, Alma.
