Small Business Owner's Roundtable. Leadership can be lonely. Come join this peer group to share challenges and ideas and find new opportunities for growth SCORE Mentors of Greater Elkhart County is hosting a Business Owners Roundtable that meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 4pm. With 10-12 small-business owners from non-competing industries, it encourages learning and networking in a respectful and collaborative environment. The discussions are conducted in an open semi-structured format. The agenda is set by members. The open discussions are amongst the members. SCORE Mentors, or an occasional guest speaker, may sometimes participate to enrich the conversation. The Roundtable is facilitated by SCORE Volunteer Dane Willman with support from other SCORE Mentors. Dane is a seasoned Small Business owner with years of experience in roundtable discussions. Who should attend? Small Business owners or CEOs of all types of small businesses, with a minimum of six months of revenue, are welcome. Registration is required and participation is free. Winter Quandary: You want to create a healthy, vibrant indoor space for plants to grow, but winter pests can make life difficult for houseplants. The solution: Join us for Wellfield's first Horticulture class of 2025 and learn how to keep your plants thriving! In this class, presented by Greenspace. The Plant Place. of Elkhart, Bridgette and Mike will talk about controlling and dealing with houseplant pests, discuss what products you can use to keep your plants healthy and thriving, and provide tips and tricks to keeping your plants pest free. Bridgette and Mike will answer any general houseplant questions you may have, so feel free to bring photos of your plants to share! This informative 1 hour session will inspire you to create a great indoor space to keep you company until you can get outside and dig in the dirt again. Attendees will receive a coupon to use on their next visit to Greenspace! This class is $10 for public adults, $8 for Wellfield members. Registration required. 18+ only, please.
