Small Business Owner's Roundtable. Leadership can be lonely. Come join this peer group to share challenges and ideas and find new opportunities for growth SCORE Mentors of Greater Elkhart County is hosting a Business Owners Roundtable that meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 4pm. With 10-12 small-business owners from non-competing industries, it encourages learning and networking in a respectful and collaborative environment. The discussions are conducted in an open semi-structured format. The agenda is set by members. The open discussions are amongst the members. SCORE Mentors, or an occasional guest speaker, may sometimes participate to enrich the conversation. The Roundtable is facilitated by SCORE Volunteer Dane Willman with support from other SCORE Mentors. Dane is a seasoned Small Business owner with years of experience in roundtable discussions. Who should attend? Small Business owners or CEOs of all types of small businesses, with a minimum of six months of revenue, are welcome. Registration is required and participation is free. Have you ever wished your new baby would come with an owner’s manual? This class will help you focus on those first couple of weeks after you give birth. Learn proven techniques to hold, soothe, and care for your baby. The second portion of the class focuses on keeping your newborn safe. You will also learn how to provide emergency care for your infant, including CPR for babies under one year old. Mannequins are provided to practice the skills learned. This class covers essential information on the production of breast milk, importance of skin-to-skin contact, effective latch, positioning, supply and demand, support, and much more.
