The Mall Walking Club meets every Tuesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. through December 30. It’s a great way to enjoy the benefits of walking no matter what the weather is outdoors. One loop is about a half-mile (or 1 000 steps). To join sign up at the horse fountain on Retail Level 2 (between Crate & Barrel and Urban Outfitters) on Tuesday and Friday mornings during the program. Admission is free. Parking is free for all registered members of the Mall Walk program from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Fridays. New Morning Class Added on Tuesday's at 9:15 am. You can also join the Wednesday evening class at 7:30pm Gentle Soul Flow Yoga with Sabrina Eyster is designed for those new to yoga or anyone interested in a slower, soothing vinyasa practice. This class incorporates flowing sequences to warm up the body, and learning to align that flow with our breath. We will step into a place of mindful awareness as we gently open energy lines and soothe the nervous system through pranayama, meditation and movement. With this awareness we can learn to take our practice off the mat and into our everyday lives. Finding ourselves more grounded, more compassionate and more at home within our own bodies.

Starting Tuesday morning January 4th weekly Zoom classes will be offered between 10:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m. This unique hybrid program will promote a friendly exchange of thoughts and opinions about provocative issues and hot topics in the news – Everyone’s ideas will be considered, with free expression and a spirit of congeniality encouraged. Saturday August 20 and Sunday August 21Suggested for children ages 7 through 12. We are excited to present Battery “B” First Rhode Island Light Artillery to run the Civil War Soldier Experience. Each two-hour session -- 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. -- will consist of a number of fun-filled educational activities and demonstrations ending with the firing of an actual Civil War cannon. Children will witness living history while learning about the life of Civil War soldiers and their families. This program will be outdoors so children should be prepared to stay outside during the camp. Participants should bring water snacks bug spray and sunscreen and wear comfortable clothing for outside activities. Monthly Hike SeriesSave the date for the September hike Sunday, September 18 at 10am This is the second in our monthly series of outings meant to help newcomers discover Teatown. We will explore a different trail than the first walk and enjoy even more of what Teatown has to offer. Don’t forget to sign up for the next outing in September, where we will discover yet another of Teatown’s wonderful trails. This experience is perfect for everyone aged 5 and older, and anyone who wants to start learning about the magic of Teatown. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Bring water, light snacks, and wear supportive, comfortable shoes such as sneakers. No flip flops. This event will be lead in English and Spanish. Bike jog ride walk or skate the parkway from the Westchester County Center in White Plains to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Bicycle Sundays have been a beloved Westchester tradition since 1974. Saturday August 20 and Sunday August 21Suggested for children ages 7 through 12. We are excited to present Battery “B” First Rhode Island Light Artillery to run the Civil War Soldier Experience. Each two-hour session -- 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. -- will consist of a number of fun-filled educational activities and demonstrations ending with the firing of an actual Civil War cannon. Children will witness living history while learning about the life of Civil War soldiers and their families. This program will be outdoors so children should be prepared to stay outside during the camp. Participants should bring water snacks bug spray and sunscreen and wear comfortable clothing for outside activities. The Mall Walking Club meets every Tuesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. through December 30. It’s a great way to enjoy the benefits of walking no matter what the weather is outdoors. One loop is about a half-mile (or 1 000 steps). To join sign up at the horse fountain on Retail Level 2 (between Crate & Barrel and Urban Outfitters) on Tuesday and Friday mornings during the program. Admission is free. Parking is free for all registered members of the Mall Walk program from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Fridays. You can also join the Wednesday evening class at 7:30pm Gentle Soul Flow Yoga with Sabrina Eyster is designed for those new to yoga or anyone interested in a slower, soothing vinyasa practice. This class incorporates flowing sequences to warm up the body, and learning to align that flow with our breath. We will step into a place of mindful awareness as we gently open energy lines and soothe the nervous system through pranayama, meditation and movement. The music of American/English pianist, bassist, and composer Howard Britz draws from Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Gospel, RnB, and Brazilian traditions. His unique compositions tell musical stories and bring listeners into an intriguing world of ideas, sound, groove, and feeling. Britz’s music is melodic, open-hearted, emotional, and feel good. Music from his 2021 EP Comfort and Joy and many other tunes from Howard’s catalog will be featured by his jazz piano trio. Britz grew up in London, England, moving to the USA in 1991 to attend Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship. He has released 5 CDs as a leader and appeared on many other recordings as a sideman playing and recording with a host of great artists, including Tim Garland, Danilo Perez, Kenny Werner, Jon Hendricks, and Annie Ross. Howard will be joined by Tim Horner on drums and bassist Peter Brendler. This concert will be held indoors with light refreshments available. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased HERE or at the door.

The Mall Walking Club meets every Tuesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. through December 30. It’s a great way to enjoy the benefits of walking no matter what the weather is outdoors. One loop is about a half-mile (or 1 000 steps). To join sign up at the horse fountain on Retail Level 2 (between Crate & Barrel and Urban Outfitters) on Tuesday and Friday mornings during the program. Admission is free. Parking is free for all registered members of the Mall Walk program from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Fridays. You can also join the Wednesday evening class at 7:30pm Gentle Soul Flow Yoga with Sabrina Eyster is designed for those new to yoga or anyone interested in a slower, soothing vinyasa practice. This class incorporates flowing sequences to warm up the body, and learning to align that flow with our breath. We will step into a place of mindful awareness as we gently open energy lines and soothe the nervous system through pranayama, meditation and movement. The Mall Walking Club meets every Tuesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. through December 30. It’s a great way to enjoy the benefits of walking no matter what the weather is outdoors. To join sign up at the horse fountain on Retail Level 2 (between Crate & Barrel and Urban Outfitters) on Tuesday and Friday mornings during the program. Admission is free. The Mall Walking Club meets every Tuesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. through December 30. It’s a great way to enjoy the benefits of walking no matter what the weather is outdoors. One loop is about a half-mile (or 1 000 steps). To join sign up at the horse fountain on Retail Level 2 (between Crate & Barrel and Urban Outfitters) on Tuesday and Friday mornings during the program. Admission is free. Parking is free for all registered members of the Mall Walk program from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Fridays. Bike jog ride walk or skate the parkway from the Westchester County Center in White Plains to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Bicycle Sundays have been a beloved Westchester tradition since 1974.
